What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

The variety of my job role. In the graduate scheme, I have the opportunity to rotate around different sites and departments. So, my job often changes, which I enjoy as I learn so much from others. This creates excellent network opportunities.

Worst

The uncertainty. As I'm required to change my placement each year on the graduate scheme, I've found this very stressful as I know I can't settle into a role for too long. This makes it difficult as I build great relationships in my team and then I move on. I accept this a part of my development, however, I find it difficult.

Do you have any interview tips?

Think of the interview as a conversation and this will help you relax more. I find the more relaxed I was during my interview, allowed me to be chatty and more personable with the interviewer. I think it's important to show that you demonstrate great customer and colleague communication. I was asked a series of questions that reflected on my communication, customer service, independent and teams skills, as well as, management skills. I answered each question by using simple scenarios and I found this made the interview flow well. It's natural to be nervous in an interview, but take your time and remind yourself this is a chance to highlight all of your success and challenges.
