What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

My one piece of advice would be to be yourself. Currently working in recruitment, it is really easy to spot someone who is trying to be someone they are not. It's always refreshing to find someone who is confident in not only their ability, but their own personality, and how they can use this to progress. I would also recommend displaying flexibility and not narrowing your future plans to one path, as this can really open up opportunities for you.

Do you have any interview tips?

I had to complete an initial online application, then online tests, a video interview, and finally face-to-face interviews.

A common question I was asked was "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?" This can be difficult to answer when you've only just graduated, so my recommendation would be to be honest. If you don't know, then tell your interviewer this! Turn it into a positive, and show how flexible and excited you are that your career may take many different directions.

I would also recommend researching both the company and the specific sector you are interested in!

Finally, work experience is really valuable. Whilst university qualifications are great, show how you have mixed this with work experience to help you apply what you've learned. A knowledge of how a business works is really appealing to employers, so show that you've taken the time to understand this, and have experienced it first hand.
