What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Study our website - brief knowledge of what we do (water treatment works and sewage works; maintain distribution networks and sewers; bill customers; respond to problems; educate customers; generate electricity)
Research the industry and its regulation (OFWAT, DWI, EA, CCW and DEFRA all play a role) - just make sure you have an overview of how we are regulated as it is specific to the water industry.
Take an interest in company initiatives e.g. look at In My Street website and our renewables portfolio.
