Starting salary: £27,000 - £29,000

Current salary: £29,000 - £31,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Don't over complicate your CV make it clear, short and easy to read. If you have a lot of experience/education. Use titles of project and a very short summary of duties/role

Making sure it is well written is a very important point also, this is the first thing your potential employee will see and gives them an initial impression of you.

Do you have any interview tips?

Telephone Interview, relatively basic technical points (basic electrical principles/ motor operation etc.) an initial getting to know you talk through your CV and discuss anything you are currently doing.

Face to face interview- Foster Wheeler as interview days where you will have a HR interview and a technial interview, as well as a tour and general meet and greet of some staff.

HR- learn core values of FW and be ready to show examples of when you have shown these qualitys

Technical -Relax, as a graduate you are not neccesarily going to know everything, be clear in your response and answer questions clearly, use sketches/drawings to support your answer if you need a lot of engineering meetings request pen and paper to best explain your thoughts
