What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
I would recommend that you have a good understanding of why you really want to work in HR and employment law. This role is very challenging and intense, and a commitment and passion for HR will definitely help you to succeed, which should be made clear throughout the application. Preparation is key, especially with regards to the company background and how you have the skills, experience and knowledge for this environment.
Do you have any interview tips?
Peninsula thrives off commerciality and your understanding and passion for this should be clearly communicated throughout the day. I would ensure that you are well prepared for the day to allow you to be confident when engaging in all aspects of the interview process. I would also recommend that you have fun during the interview! I thoroughly enjoyed the assessment day and interview, and my passion for HR shone through the smile on my face and the excitement for potentially working for such an award winning company.
