What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
One pointer I would like to give to future candidates is be prepared to work hard and enjoy it. Although some people may have knowledge of HR process or employment law, it is important to have some ideas of how to apply the theory and to empathise with clients. Any real life experience would be beneficial but not necessarily needed.
Do you have any interview tips?
Firstly, make sure you have done your research! It is important to understand who Peninsula are, what they do, why they do it and their future goals. Also, I would suggest highlighting the positive experiences you have gained throughout your studies/within previous roles and what HR means to you personally but making sure your personality shines through.
