Best

Great variety of work that you can do, you can really steer your career into the department that you are interested in.

Support towards chartership is excellent.

Worst

6 month placements are relatively short and so you need to hit the ground running in your placement to get the most out of it.

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Do your research surrounding the work that Cadent do and try to gain an understanding of the different areas of the business (e.g. Customer Operations, O&M, IPO etc.)

Do you have any interview tips?

For engineering roles, be prepared for questions surrounding the functions of the gas distribution network . I had some technical questions regarding pressures and chemical composition of natural gas.
