What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
It's a mixture of site and office based work so I'm not stuck in the office all the time. I find this very appealing. Flexible working also a huge benefit.
If you're an engineer whose interested in getting chartered you essentially have to drive it yourself as the programme is not accredited by most engineering institutions.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £27,000 - £29,000
Current salary: £33,000 - £35,000
What hours do you actually work, on average?
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Do your research on the company and learn about its various departments, then you'll be able to figure out which department correlates with your interests. Keep an open mind. Be able to demonstrate that you can work collaboratively.
Do you have any interview tips?
Gain a good understanding of the energy industry current affairs and the challenges it's facing. Always employ the STAR technique, especially when answering competency based questions. Finally just be yourself as this is mostly what the interviewers are interested in, knowing as much as they can within that short period of time about YOU!!!
