What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
If you go to an assessment centre just be yourself. Too many people try too hard to impress. If they don't like you for the person that you are then you probably don't really want to work for them.
Do you have any interview tips?
I didn't get asked any technical questions which was a bit unusual and I'd still prepare for this just in case (Bending moment diagrams etc). Again just be yourself and answer all questions honestly. The people who are interviewing you are intelligent so they'll instantly know if you're trying to pull the wool over their eyes.
