What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Don't rush the application, take time to read through every question and think about your answers. Also don't be afraid to say what aspects of your university course you like the most and some that your not so keen on. Its very important to get a job after university but ensure that you apply for the role that suits you and that you will enjoy. If you apply for a position that you don't really want it will show and it will also show if you rush through your application or use generic copied and pasted answers. Ensure you are specific to each company. It's better to do a few good applications than lots of rushed and vague applications.

Do you have any interview tips?

Be confident, be honest but also don't be afraid to show off a bit and sell yourself. Think of everything you have to offer the company before hand and run through a good few practice questions. It's very important that you research the company before you go for an interview as I think in any interview you are always asked what you know about the company. Ensure that you know what position you are applying for and what this involves. Take along relevant work examples that you have done throughout university and perhaps a summer work placement (though remember to check with your boss at your work placement as the work you have completed may be confidential).
