What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Research the company well and think of why you want to work here. Show your passion and readiness to learn things and to change things as well. One of the requirements to be eligible to apply is a FInance degree, so don't waste people's time proving your Finance knowledge to them, they will know you have it. Compass seeks people with the highest potential, so prove you are ambitious, hard working, inquisitive and respect the company you are applying to.
Do you have any interview tips?
Be confident and open, you won't be assessed only on your skills and knowledge, but also on your team work abilities, leadership and creativity. On my assessment centre I had 3 tasks and only one of them was finance related - the other two were aimed to assess our team building skills. The assessment day was actually enjoyable so don't feel stressed and try to enjoy yourself.
