What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
The best thing is definitely a split between the working environment and the career opportunities. The employee base at Severn Trent is incredibly friendly and sociable, and the career opportunities are endless if you apply yourself!
Worst
It is quite a technical job so working from home has made it a little more difficult to learn the ropes, but thats a temporary problem that hopefully will be over soon!

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
The main advice I would give for your application is to make sure you show a broad skillset, or at least a hunger to learn. Severn Trent is a company that is big on Diversity and it is always great to show what you can bring to the company as an individual.
Do you have any interview tips?
For the interview, it is a very cliche response- but just be yourself! Don't feel like you need to act towards what you think they want to see. Yes they will be looking for the best candidate to fit the role, but they also want them to be authentic and true to who they are. Be confident and open minded. Also engage with the interviewer, ask questions and just show a general interest in what is going on with the company.
