What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

The variety, due to the rotational aspect of the Taylor Wimpey General Graduate Programme. You get to experience what every department does and how they fit into the business.

Worst

You don't have much of a say on your location during the Graduate Programme.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £25,000 - £27,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Be yourself and be personable. Taylor Wimpey has a great working culture, everyone I have met within the organisation are friendly but also extremely hard-working.

Do you have any interview tips?

Do your research on the company and the industry, there is an abundance of information and opinions about the housebuilding industry. The government is investing in housing, attempting to rectify the housing crisis within the UK. This industry offers a great platform to build a long and successful career due to the need for housing in this country.

At final interview I was asked which area of the business I was interested in initially, so make sure you have researched these areas and what they do.
