What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

The people are fantastic. Both teams I have been a part of so far have been amazing. The feel surrounding the whole company is amazing and you feel like you're part of a giant family.

The training and potential development/experience on offer at Compass are first-class.

Worst

The company can be a bit clunky sometimes as it's so big. Things can sometimes take a long time to complete as tasks have to pass through so many people. Communications between departments can also be slow and disorganised due to the size of the company as well, and it's easy to sometimes feel a little 'out of the loop' with certain parts of work.

Work hard on the application. Put time into it and speak to others about it. Use contacts you may have from work/university to help you put forward the best application possible. I had previous experience in catering which helped me with nitty gritty detaisl required in my application process.

Do you have any interview tips?

I would say the key thing I learned in the interviews for this role is that trying to relax is key. The person interviewing you wants you to do well. Remembering that will help you to relax a bit and hopefully succeed.
