What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Get to grips with what metrology is, and why it is important. Most people are largely unaware of what metrology is and where it features, so this will be a big help. Otherwise it's the usual for any engineering job. Know your first year mechanics, electronics and be relaxed!
Do you have any interview tips?
I was questioned on general 1st year mechanics, and a few circuit diagrams. We also talked a lot about the projects I had done at university and work placements, as well as what I would like to do in a job.
