What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

I get to collaborate with a range of people at all different levels of leadership/technical ability within the business. There isn't a sense of hierarchy as everyone works together to achieve a task.

Worst

It's sometimes difficult at graduate level to feel 'useful' as workload fluctuates throughout the year and only so many tasks can be delegated.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £27,000 - £29,000

Current salary: £27,000 - £29,000

What hours do you actually work, on average?

Start: 08:00

Finish: 04:30

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

I would advise to ensure that your CV is job role specific. For example, as I was applying for a process engineer role, I ensured that I focused on details about process engineering modules that I had studied at university to highlight my prior knowledge that could be built upon.

Do you have any interview tips?

I would advise to be ready to be questioned on situational judgement and have examples of soft skills such as "describe a time where you experienced a challenge and how it was resolved". I would also advise to take a second to form your answer before saying it to the interviewers. They don't mind you taking a few seconds to stop and think before you speak - this helps with nerves and gives you chance to form a solid answer instead of rambling.
