What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Show your interest for wanting to work in the water industry and explain how you think you can make a positive contribution. Every applicant have similar academic experience so try and draw on your non-academic experiences.

Do you have any interview tips?

Use the STAR template to answer questions. Also, when answering questions try and tell it like a story- get the interviewer engaged (don't start waffling though!)

Answer questions fully, but mention one or two interesting point without expanding on the details. This will intrigue the interviewer and prompt them to ask questions, thus making it more like a conversation rather than Q&A.

Finally, do your research and prepare some questions to ask.
