What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Obtaining work experience is important to get to the interview stage. However, it is also important to be passsionate and show how and why you have particularly chosen to apply for a particular position. Many of my colleagues have varied backgrounds with experience in different sectors and a range of qualifications before focusing on their current careers. Although accredited degrees are important for the APC process, they are not the only way to draw attention to yourself.
Take any help that is offered in terms of CV/interviews/applications at careers events/university.
