Starting salary: £29,000 - £31,000

Current salary: £31,000 - £33,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Make sure your application is clear and concise, don't ramble on in your CV or application. Try to highlight your key skills and how they fit in with BT's company values and it's vision for the future. Your coding ability will be assessed in the application, so ensure you spend a good amount of time making the code clear and ensuring it works as expected. You will need to be able to talk about any part of your submitted code competently if you progress to an assessment centre.

Do you have any interview tips?

As a Graduate it is important to show your competency and passion for Software Development. Having a good knowledge of Software practices and implementation will stand you in good stead in your application. If you get through to the an assessment centre be attentive and a team player, and make sure you know BT's company values. Being involved in side projects outside of work will stand you in good stead.
