Work hard in university, try and take part in activities that get you experience working in technical teams, take an interest in the communications industry to understand the major new stories that are happening.

What do you do to keep up to date with technology news? Experience working in teams? Current projects? Projects you have found challenging and why they were challenging? Times you showed leadership?
Being a good team player is equally as important as your technical skills, you must be able to work well with others, also BT is looking for graduates to be leaders of the future, so being able to work well using your own initiative is excellent too.
