What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
The grad scheme is looking for people who are capable of taking on leadership roles. BT has a focus on hiring/promoting people for management over raw technical ability - you'll need to demonstrate some kind of experience on your CV and the assessment centres are all geared towards people/business skills and are not technical.
Do you have any interview tips?
There were no technical challenges/interviews to complete during my hiring process - don't expect to be hired on your technical capability alone. You're not expected to know the ins and outs of operating a business, but you'll need to be able to show you can think from a business perspective and work well with people.
