What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Try to get a relevant engineering summer placement during university. This extra experience will be worth just as much to you as your university career when it comes to applying for jobs.
Gaining soft skills such as communication and teamwork is also very important. This will give you experiences to fall back on when it comes to your interview. People tell you this all the time at university but it really is true.
Do you have any interview tips?
My interview was quite relaxed. Whoever is interviewing you will already know a lot about your achievements at uni and your work history so the purpose of the interview is more for them to chat to you and find out more about who you are so they can work out if you are right for the company and will fit in within the team.
