What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Be honest.
A good degree is important but the skills you bring from extra-curricular activities is what makes you stand out. Bring out that passion. Running clubs at university is a huge plus.
Having placement experience can be very important - it made a huge difference for me.
Do you have any interview tips?
It is a fairly informal interview where personality and passion for engineering is what they look for. Try to get into a discussion relating to your project work and what you enjoy.
