What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Talk to people within the office that you are applying for (not just London). The atmosphere is very different from one office to the next, and it is important to know/appreciate what you are signing up for.
If possible, proactively organise a placement/work experience. If you can spare a week or two the company will genereally be very accomodating and helpful, and it will significantly help your application. Try getting in touch with people directly at the office, not just the HR department. This is basically how I got the job, it helps both parties as you get to know each other before the dreaded first day.

Do you have any interview tips?

The old cliché 'relax and be yourself' is as good as I can do. If you get the job by acting up you'll get found out anyway so just be yourself.
