What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

It is important to research the company well to demonstrate the JLL values and how your experience is in line with these values. JLL look for candidates who can demonstrate good collaborative working and building relationships as this is a very sociable industry. They also look for resilience, so being able to demonstrate ability to problem-solve and overcome difficulties is important.

For a number of the graduate schemes you do not need to have a property background, so being able to show how you developed your interest in this industry is key.

Do you have any interview tips?

The interview process has changed slightly since I applied but there are a number of competency based questions asked as well as interest in the business/property industry. It is important to be personable and engage with the activities during the day. Demonstrate good research of the company and recent industry news and present good examples of your experience and how this shows the competencies they are looking for.
