What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Show you have knowledge of the sector but also the company. Highlight what you are interested in but do make them aware that you understand all aspects of the business and how you would contribute. Be ready to take on different roles and do not be afraid of learning new things and dealing with things which you are not familiar with. Investigate what the team you are aiming for would need and show them how you can contribute in that area, either by demonstrating the knowledge you already have or expressing how you would learn this particular skill.

Do you have any interview tips?

They tend to ask if you possess good analytic skills, so do take the time to get familiar with excel, and other programs which are necessary for the role you are applying for. You do not need to be the best at it, but you do have to be aware, and learn (what you can on your own) and be willing to work through it. Don’t focus on just one thing, but don’t be indifferent either. If they ask which area you are interested in the most, do let them know, but also add how you would like to explore other areas of expertise which link to it, and enjoy working in a team towards the same goal.
