What hours do you actually work, on average?

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

When applying research the property industry well. It is less about the rent per sq ft and much more about the general forces on say what will affect retail, how does online retailing affect the demand for space, what about changing work habits and what do these mean for office investment, etc.
Also it is important to have a good rounding. So don't just talk about what you did at school or uni as a subject.
Having gone to Reading, Cass, Oxford Brooks, Cambridge or Oxford really helps here, although non cogs have a good opportunity here as well.

Do you have any interview tips?

Don't name drop although you can mention you know someone. If you do, the interviewers will follow up with said person.
Be aware of the current property news and when a question is asked you can answer it correctly in what you think is right, but it is much more about what people expect to hear: e.g. when asked what affects the property industry in February 2015 I have answered the interest rates of the central bank of England. It's correct but not what people wanted to hear when they wanted to steer the conversation about Cross rail.
