At the end of the day, we're a company driven by the needs of our customers and programmes - as much as you may want to do something, there needs to be a business need for you to do it (even if that's professional development and exposure to that work)

Starting salary: £29,000 - £31,000
Current salary: £37,000 - £39,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Remember that everyone applying will have a degree, and your grades will be near identical - it's what else you've done that we're interested in. You could be the valedictorian of your cohort, with 100% in every module, but if there's nothing else to you than that (no clubs, societies, part-time work, work experience, training courses, exposure to other companies/events in the field etc) then they're more likely to go with another candidate, even if they're weaker academically
Do you have any interview tips?
Research and practice in the STAR response technique, and ensure you have multiple good examples to use where you've demonstrated both your technical skills but also your soft skills (and they don't all have to be an engineering university project!)
