What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Morgan Sindall is filled with lots of down-to-earth people, emphasised by their focus on personal development, it's therefore best to get to know someone in the company before applying. Morgan Sindall Group contains quite a few companies who attend schools, universities, and other construction events, so you can easily find someone. As long as you're enthusiastic and friendly they'll be happy to direct you to the relevant department. While it's easier to go through the standard online applications, these just go through HR and remove any personal impact.
Do you have any interview tips?
Main advice would be to prepare. Have an answer to every generic question you can find online. The interviewer would much rather get through the standard "give me a time when" questions as quickly as possible and move onto more personal questions, so it helps to have snappy responses. Always prepare things to ask the interviewer, and this shouldn't be "when will I hear back from you", or "will I get a bonus", you should ask something like "in what ways have Morgan Sindall supported your personal development", and drop into conversation knowledge on the company aims and objectives.
