What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Think about what actually equity research actually is. Consider a company that you know well and try to really understand how they make money. What will drive their costs and revenues and what would you say are their key perfomance indicators. Break it down to fundamentals.
Don't worry if you didn't do a finance or economics degree - the training is comprehensive and it's not long until everyone is on the same level.
