What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Think carefully about how your previous experience has shaped your approach to work. Wellcome is a place that thrives on making new connections, be it across disciplines, departments, etc. Being able to demonstrate a capacity to look for new ways of working, or understanding things from a different perspective is an advantage.
Do you have any interview tips?
The questions are very competency based - it's good to go in having quite a few examples of experience you've had up your sleeve. Try not to pigeon-hole yourself - this is a scheme that is aimed for graduates who don't necessarily have a fixed idea of what they would like to do for their career and your interviewers will be looking for this in you. Come with an idea of what you think this scheme can usefully do for you at this point in your life, but don't think this has to be prescriptive.
