What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Be clear why it is you are attracted to Sellafield - it is in a remote location and the company need to know you are committed to a long term career. They invest so much in you they need to be assured this is not just a stop gap to another role elsewhere.
Do you have any interview tips?
Be personable and make your ideas heard. Do not shy away if you are working in a group activity and the way things are going it needs a leader to speak up and be the organiser! Ask questions and have researched the area you will be living in (if you're from elsewhere). Understand Sellafield's place in the nuclear industry and develop your commercial awareness of how it is funded from the government/NDA.
