What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Demonstrate interest in local communities, and an awareness of the current financial constraints on local government. Don't approach local government thinking that it will be an easy ride, you need to demonstrate that you are commercially aware, can think on your feet, and can present your ideas well in both formal and group situations.
