Starting salary: £21,000 - £23,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Transport Modelling is not something that many people think of or are expected to know in much detail. Therefore show enthusiasm for learning new things and ideas.
A good base in maths also helps but it is always something you can improve on in the job.
Being good with computers also helps, some of the programs involve coding which you will have to learn so if you have any idea of the basic principles (spacing etc) then this will also help.
Do you have any interview tips?
Be yourself, make sure to ask questions about modelling as a topic and show that you are interested in learning more about it.
Ask about Micro and strategic modelling to show that you have looked into modelling. There are many books and resources online (Webtag being the main one) have a look at these before the interview and get some questions from them.
