What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Be prepared and be really clear about why you would like to work for Cancer Research UK as an organisation. Unfortunately most people have had an experience of cancer through family or friends, and as much as this provides motivation for wanting to work here, it does not set you apart from other applicants. Think carefully about what it is about Cancer Research UK that attracts you to want to be a part of it.

Do you have any interview tips?

Be honest about your development needs - interviewers value self awareness very highly, more than someone who claims to have no weaknesses. This shows a mature approach to yourself and your work.
