What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
What GE expects from people applying for this program is the following skills:
- Leadership potential: this program has for goal to train GE's future leaders. You need to be able to lead people, to take decisions quickly, and to take initiatives.
- Adaptability: ITLPs need to accept the fact that they might move in a new position and new location every 6 months during 2 years.
- Strong analytical skills: ITLPs will be given challenging positions to complete in a short time-lapse. Being able to understand the challenges quickly and to bring solutions in a timely manner is critical.
Even though this is an IT position, people without any IT background will be accepted if they show the required skills.
