What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

Training - I have had Undergraduate apprenticeship in IT Digital Solutions with Consulting Pathway. All azure exams, ITIL Foundation, Prince 2 Agile, DevOps.

Opportunities open to help people in all environments including leadership team.

The opportunity to show growth and development.

Workshops - Dave and Giles are brilliant and couldn't recommend them more.

Flexibility to do university work and have hrs in to work on assignments.

Motivation to work upwards and get mentorship advice.

Worst

We need to have more time together as PT's, everyone only sees each other during our workshops. It would be nice to have a quarterly thing together during work hours for us all to meet.

Sometimes there could be even more flexibility, given the scheme is three years it stated on the job profile I applied it was a rotation around project management, IT Architecture, Vendor Management, Cyber Security and now I am in one team which limits skills sets but also it is harder to move to other teams for shorter placements, also feels like we are in the job role already but there isn't as much flexibility as graduates on a 3 year scheme.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £27,000 - £29,000

Current salary: £31,000 - £33,000

What hours do you actually work, on average?

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Plan well ahead for as much as you can. I did a presentation, ensure you do a soft practice in front of people a few times and make sure you have put your all into the CV process etc.

Do you have any interview tips?

Make sure you research about the personal star in depth. It holds the company values which I learnt is valuable to understand as part of the interview process.

Don't go in to just say what the company wants to hear. Make sure you are actually keeping a promise to the company and what you can offer to the role.
