What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

The people. Everyone has been so welcoming and friendly and it's meant I've settled in really quickly and can get on with the job.

Worst

Though this isn't Willmott Dixon's fault, trying to learn the role whilst working at home is tough (I did raise this with my manager and have now moved to a site-based role to be around more people). It has meant that I've needed to be really proactive to keep myself busy. It did force me to call people up to ask questions at the beginning though, which means I now know a lot more people than I otherwise would've done.

Starting salary: £17,000 - £19,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Take your time with the application, make sure you plan it out really thoroughly. You want it to be to the point to keep whoever's reading it interested, but also show yourself off.

Do you have any interview tips?

Do your research - know about the job you are applying for as well as the company you are applying to. You really don't want to be caught unaware in an interview. Have some (relevant) questions to ask your interviewer as well, it shows you're attentive and actually care about where you'll be working.
