What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Learn how to draw bicycles! More seriously I'd have a good look at the Max Fordham website and get a real understanding for the ethos / approach of the company, it's more important to understand that than it is to have an in-depth knowledge of building services.

Do you have any interview tips?

Be yourself. Max Fordham's has all types and needs them... if you're introverted and love getting down into the details that's great, if you like to keep it big picture and come up with conceptual solutions that go outside of conventions that's also great. When it comes to working here you'll probably need a bit of both and the company will help you develop that. But when you first interview it's important to represent your skills as they are, rather than as you hope they'll be.
