What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

There are a number of steps starting from an online application and going on to an interview then assessment centre. Take your time with the application form, better to spend five hours on one form than five hours on five forms - it will show.
The majority of graduate jobs go to people who have done internships so I couldn't recommend this more.

Do you have any interview tips?

At the interview be aware of work you've done at uni - projects, basic subject knowledge etc. Be aware of the values of BP, especially safety as well as the commercial aspects. A very basic knowledge of what the oil industry does won't hurt.
