What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

You practise nutrition every day with everything you do, despite every task being different.

No two days are the same and the opportunities to implement your ideas are present.

You are able to call on support when you need it, but are treated with responsibility as soon as you join, despite being a graduate.

You get a company car.

There are opportunities to go to conventions or conferences to keep you up to date in your field.

They also give you graduate training days on things like management that allow you to grow as a professional.

Worst

The 'professional working week' means it can be difficult to have a social life as you can get called at any time, and work long, round the clock hours during busy periods.

There is a lot of driving, and early starts!!

Starting salary: £21,000 - £23,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Consider if you enjoy doing something different every day and whether you are happy being called by all aspects of the company.

Consider how far you are willing to stretch your comfort zone as other parts of the sector will pull on you for support. This is great for experience but can be challenging.

Do you have any interview tips?

Be truthful and confident.

Be assertive if you believe you are right and remember to act as though you would in real life as you will be picked according to your suitability.

We were asked about if we were to create a new cafe what we would do and why, we had to talk for 5 minutes on how we would solve a problem in finance and also in meal uptake.

We also had to discuss new ideas and present for 10 minutes.
