What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Research the company and make sure you know which sector you are applying for. Tailor your application to the skills they ask for in the role and don't be afraid to talk about work experience which you don't think is directly relevant. e.g. I worked in retail but I was able to demonstrate my ability to influence and persuade customers to purchase extra items which are key skills of a Product Manager.

Do you have any interview tips?

Research the industry, know what is happening in the news/government. It really helps to have something else to talk about especially in the interview as I was asked if I knew of anything that was happening at the time that would impact the company/product. Make sure you know what a Product Manager does and find examples of when you have demonstrated those skills. Also, if you get to the assessment centre remember to smile and talk to people that work there; it is as much about your skills/experience as it is you.
