What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Research the office you are applying to work in, find out what specialisms they offer and research them. Look at job types in the industry, pay types, companies who would require those services and the potential competitors. - This will really help during the interview.

ROLE PLAYS! Hays loves a good role play, so be prepared to be a recruitment consultant.

Hays only wants to hire the best so the interview process has several stages, in my experience stages 2,3 and 4 all involved role plays. Be confident and don't be afraid to ask questions when given the opportunity, if you don't ask you don't know, and if you don't know.....

Enjoy it, the interview process the whole way through is fun, you meet new people and learn lots about yourself and the company whether or not you are successful.
