What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Do not worry if you are not technical! Everything you need to learn to be successful in role, you will either be taught directly or will be given the opportunity to go out and learn for yourself.
Your personality and attitude to work will be the most important and determining factors in your success at CC as a company. Do not try and be someone that you are not, because you think it is what the recruiters want to hear. You will be found out at some point before the end of the 18 month programme and probably won't have enjoyed yourself or made the most out of working for this fantastic company.
Do you have any interview tips?
Once the introductory chit chat is out of the way, the meat of the interview will probably be competency based questions i.e. lots of questions where you are asked to give an example of yourself displaying a particular behaviour or skill. Try and think of times when you have materially contributed in the work place, university or even socially. Remembering that they are trying to gauge you as a person. Don't be tempted to say "we did this" or "we did that". The interviewer is interviewing you, not everyone else in your old team or university seminar group, focus on your own contributions.
