What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £31,000 - £33,000

Current salary: £33,000 - £35,000

What hours do you actually work, on average?

Start: 9:00

Finish: 19:00

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Don't apply if you're not willing to travel. IBM UK has adopted a more European model so there's a fair chance you can find yourself working somewhere in Europe, almost certainly outside of London.

Furthermore if you know you have a specific interest in a certain thing make this known. if you're passionate about analytics, let people know, if you're big on social media, let people know. IBM has diversified its solutions recently so there is less 'Traditional consulting' and more millennial- friendly work. But if you don't tell people that's where your passions or interests lie you won't get place in a service line that suits.

Do you have any interview tips?

Be yourself. I firmly believe IBM hire people for their personality. There are a number of factors that you are assessed on in the interview process but I'd say a collaborative, balanced and measured person who is willing to listen to others to build a better idea or solution is going to get the job 9 times out of 10 over the brass, loud, dominant applicant.
