What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Be confident and professional at all times and remember that it is a sales role, recruitment is like a roller-coaster at times you will be at your highest and there are other times that you will be at your lowest, a good recruiter has the ability to balance this focus on getting themselves back to the top.

Do you have any interview tips?

Be confident and remember to sell yourself. Business has won my clients investing in you and also Hays, but to close the deal they have to believe in what you say and do.
Give examples about roles where you have had to work towards targets and KPI's, if you have no examples think about what appeals to you about working to targets and KPI's.
Persuasion is also key to this role, as you need the ability to clearly articulate your point/view under pressure, examples of this.
