What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

Meritocratic promotion structure - clearly set out targets that once hit, you'll be guaranteed promotion. High earning potential from day one, especially with the Hays brand behind you. Fantastic working environment - has the feel of small agile company per office but the back office support and the wider community support of the whole region / country. Excellent learning and development available at all levels from Day 1 to the very top of the seniority ladder.

Worst

City centre locations rarely have free parking onsite or close-by.

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Think about the market that you're going into - do you think you'll be able to take an interest in the market? Focus on your soft skills and how you would establish cold relationships / multiple touch processes / etc.

Do you have any interview tips?

Prepare for role plays (you're not expected to be perfect) that will test your resilience and how you manage difficult conversations (think fact finding and customer service over "ill find out from my manager"). Using real-life examples of times you've shown resilience or had to be quite investigative will go a long way - STAR technique is always sought out.
