What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

It's a good start to your career, looks good on the CV and gives you an opportunity to work on some very prestigious projects. Take on as much information as possible and get involved with all aspects of construction form the start. Attend meetings for planning, commercial etc. to widen your understanding of what it is to be part of the construction industry. The experience comes first and the money second, take on responsibility to prove yourself and make yourself a valued employee.

Do you have any interview tips?

Try to be calm. Talk clearly and be enthusiastic, It's not always about your qualifications, remember the manager and colleagues have to work with you everyday so they have to like you as a person as well as you being good at your job. Seem willing to learn and promote the skills you do have.
