Think about the examples you can show from wider contributions and not just university. It is not essential to have extensive experience of carrying out research so don't let this put you off.
Do you have any interview tips?
Try and be yourself and not what you think a typical civil servant should be. The interviewers are looking to get as much out of you as possible in the interview and not trick you in any way. There are several activities throughout the assessment centre, the interview is one of the few you can go in prepared for. Make sure you have thought through your strongest examples and practices structuring them in the STAR (situation, Task, Action, Result) format.
