What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

The company value aptitude rather than ability in graduates: don't worry about what you already know, instead focus on showing you're capable and willing to learn a lot more. Lots of the assessments involve open-ended questions; you're assessed on how you approach them and rewarded for any thought process, rather than expected to find a right answer. Don't panic if you don't feel you've got anywhere with a problem; you get the chance to discuss your answers later on and your assessors will give you plenty of opportunity to explain yourself.

Do you have any interview tips?

The interviews are fairly relaxed; you'll have a few one-on-ones throughout the process, but these are largely discussions focussed on how you've tackled the problems you've been set. I think I had one discussion centred on my CV, but it was much more a chat about my hobbies and non-academic interests.

One part of the final interview stage requires you to present any topic you like for 10-15 minutes to an audience of two/three employees. Avoid stale, familiar topics: the audience tend to engage more in something fresh (I've heard of talks on solving cryptic crossword and baking bread).
